Crusader Community Health opened it’s doors in 1972 at the SAME location we operate out of 50 years later at 1200 West State Street. While our reach has grown considerably in our community, our values, mission and commitment hasn’t changed. We remain rooted in providing high quality, cost effective and accessible healthcare for those who may not have resources. We now have eight locations including three school based sights at Auburn High School, South Beloit Jr. High School and at South Beloit High School. Our Golden Carnival celebrates where Crusader Community Health has been the past 50 years, and looks forward to our next 50 years of caring for our community.

Since 1992, the Crusader Community Health Foundation’s Spirit of Caring Awards have recognized caring individuals and organizations within our community.
2022 Spirit of Caring Award
One individual recipient, one organization recipient.
Ideal candidates for nomination exhibit unique kindness and caring for others. Spirit of Caring Awards center on the length and breadth of service these individuals and organizations bring to the community. Examples of service for individuals should be outside of their regular employment.
2022 Spirit-of-the-Future Award
The future of our community lies with our younger givers of time, talent and/or treasure. Nominate a person (18 to 40) who exhibits unique kindness and caring for others in our community outside of their regular employment; a future leader who demonstrates the Spirit of Caring today.
We will announce the Spirit of Caring award winners during the Evening of Caring.
Who benefits from your support?
Crusader patients!
Crusader patients make up nearly 20% of our area’s population. Net proceeds from this event will be invested in the construction of the new Crusader Community Health on West State Street slated to open in early 2021. Distribution of funds is always authorized by the Crusader Community Health Foundation Board of Directors.
What can you do?
Join the fun and support the Crusader mission! Attend our event and have fun! Help Crusader continue to provide outstanding primary medical, dental and behavioral health services to our community’s most vulnerable populations. It is important to a healthier community. Crusader saw over 59,000 patients in 2020. We truly need your support as we continue to grow!
