Crusader Honored with State Award

DAVID RUFFIN RECEIVES CONSUMER BOARD DEDICATION AWARD
Crusader Community Health Board Chair, David Ruffin, received the Consumer Board Dedication Award from the Illinois Primary Health Care Association at a ceremony held on October 6, 2016. Mr. Ruffin has been a member of the Crusader board since 2005 serving as its chair for the past two years. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Drake University. He has been an active volunteer for the Ethnic Heritage Museum, the African American Gallery and Rockford Alcohol Free Teens Coalition. David was the recipient of the “25 Black Leaders to Watch” award for his community involvement.
