The Women’s Health Program at Crusader Community Health is the recipient of $10,000 from Rockford’s Illinois Bank & Trust. The donation is part of the Illinois Bank & Trust Take A Swipe At Breast Cancer debit card program. When Illinois Bank & Trust customers use their Pink Ribbon debit card, the bank donates a portion of each transaction to the Crusader Women’s Health Program.
This funding offers many local and area women access to timely cancer screening and diagnosis. Crusader’s Women’s Health department has been the recipient of these funds since 2012.
“We are delighted with the ongoing positive response to this program by our customers,” stated Jeff Hultman, Illinois Bank & Trust President and CEO. “Customers really appreciate that part of every one of their Pink Ribbon debit card “swipes” goes to such a great local cause.”
Gordon Eggers Jr., President and CEO of Crusader Community Health agreed, “The funds we receive go directly to helping our female patients gain access to cancer screenings, which they might not otherwise receive. You can see the great local benefit that comes from a program like Take A Swipe at Breast Cancer.”
Illinois Bank & Trust is the largest bank headquartered in Rockford. Crusader Community Health is a Federally Qualified Health Center that provides primary medical and dental services to over 55,000 area residents.
