Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner gives pediatric services to children as part of the provider team at Crusader Community Health collaborating with licensed MD/DO physicians. The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner will collaborate and consult when necessary with patients, families, Crusader support staff, other advanced practice providers, OBGYN physicians as well as internal and external consultants in order to provide the appropriate high level of care. This position reports to the Lead Pediatric Nurse Practitioner of the Pediatrics Department and subsequently the Chair of the Pediatrics Department.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Graduate (or soon to be) of United States accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program
- Unrestricted Illinois Nurse Practitioner license, Physician Assistant license, Illinois Controlled Substance License, and Federal DEA license
- Current CPR Certification
- Spanish fluency highly desired
