POSITION SUMMARY:

The Specialty Clinic Case Manager is responsible for maintaining an expert level of knowledge on specialty medication prior authorizations, patient assistance programs, and copay grant assistance processes to ensure the timely processing of specialty medications. This position would also assist in scheduling patients into the specialty clinics, including but not limited to, Hepatitis C (HCV) and pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP), and maintaining the HCV patient roster.  This position reports directly to the Specialty Clinic Manager.

Education Requirements:

  1. Graduate of an approved school of Registered Professional Nursing
  2. Current Illinois Registered Professional Nursing license
  3. Current CPR certification
  4. Current with Continuing Education requirements
